Long, long ago I started a blog... it was going to be where I posted the progress on our new house. Since things are looking up for the construction process I decided to post a note on my blog, only to find that the BLOG WAS GONE!! It had been such a long time since I posted they cancelled the account. Either that or I can't remember the name it was under. Just kidding.
We've owned this property for nearly 5 years... it will be five years in January. And I think we've been working on building our house for probably about 3 of those years. I almost gave up earlier this year, when the appraisal came in too low and we STILL didn't have the building permit and it was getting near to when we would have to refinance the property because it was on a 5 year lump sum loan.
But now it appears that we've got a good appraisal, the permit is ready to pick up and financing is nearly complete. So here we go!!
